insel 8 now offers a new and integrated graphical interface, which simplifies working with INSEL. All simulation tools and a new graphical editor for model development are combined in a unified design. In the simulation environment you can now construct your models, run and debug the models and use all service tools.

The interface has been completely developed in Java and runs in all standard operating systems such as Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Mac OS X (not yet released), and Linux (not yet released).

All INSEL  7 models built in the HP VEE editor can be easily imported in insel 8.
